**Senior Business Analyst – Transport / Rail Domain (EAM Focus)**\n **Location:** Dublin, Ireland

\n **Experience Level:** Senior Consultant

**Primary Objectives of the Role**\n \n 
- Elict and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, document analysis, surveys, site visits, task and workflow analysis.\n 
- Analyse new initiatives assigned by the PMO and produce cost-benefit analysis documents, including gathering and validating estimates.\n 
- Critically evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and translate high-level concepts into detailed functional requirements.\n 
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyse information needs and deliver key artefacts including: Project Request Forms, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Use Cases.\n 
- Manage the end-to-end requirements lifecycle including elicitation, analysis, specification, verification, and governance.\n 
- Drive clarity in ambiguous environments and support business process change initiatives.\n 
- Ensure adherence to PMO standards, methodologies, and quality frameworks.\n 

**Required Skillset & Experience**\n \n 
- Strong consultancy background within the Transport / Rail industry.\n 
- Experience advising clients on operational improvement, cost reduction, simplification, and automation.\n 
- Experience in requirements gathering and process design within Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems such as: SAP, Oracle, Infor.\n 
- Experience leading discovery sessions and Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) workshops.\n 
- Proficiency in storyboarding and vision alignment across multiple stakeholder groups.\n 
- Experience with SIPOC documentation and BPMN 2.0 process modelling (Visio, ARIS).\n 
- Strong knowledge of Event-driven Process Chain (EPC) notation, Business Process Modelling & Notation (BPMN 2.0).\n 
- Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile delivery environments.\n 
- Ability to explain complex technical/system constraints to non-technical stakeholders.\n 

**Desirable / Advanced Capabilities**\n \n 
- Experience with wireframing and prototype design (Adobe, Figma).\n 
- Experience compiling and scoring RFQs/RFPs.\n 
- Strong understanding of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), UX/UI principles and early lifecycle adoption.\n 
- Experience with mind-mapping techniques to facilitate workshops.\n 
- Understanding of grant-funded models.\n 
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills across all organisational levels.\n 
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.\n
