Senior HPC Engineer - Hedge Fund - £150K+

Our client is one of the world’s leading systematic trading firms – A company at the cutting edge of finance, technology and quantitative analytics.

In London they’re growing their HPC team and are looking for an experienced, senior engineer to join them.

You’ll have the chance to work on one of the largest HPC clusters in the world, write your own software, filesystems and tools as you see fit and work with some of the brightest, most creative people in technology and finance.

Current projects include creation of a new, bespoke filesystem, automaton of monitoring and observability systems and bare metal provisioning.

The company have a very high bar and can offer an incredible challenge for any technologist, coupled with industry-leading renumeration.

Requirements:

- Excellent understanding of systems administration and engineering, networking and file systems
- Deep underlying stack knowledge across CPU, GPU and memory tuning etc
- Strong automation knowledge
- Good knowledge of Slurm Workload Manager
- A passion for learning and problem solving
