### Job Details

Experience: Manager

Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 per year

### Key Responsibilities and Duties

- Partner with business leaders to translate workforce plans into hiring, capability building, retention, succession, and organizational actions

- Oversee employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, and leave requests; partner with legal counsel on high-risk matters

- Run the annual people cycle: talent reviews, succession inputs, performance calibration, compensation planning, and development follow-through

- Partner with executive leadership and Finance on recruiting, compensation, benefits, HR systems, people data, and workforce budgets

- Maintain sound HR controls, accurate records, policy governance, and employment law compliance across multiple locations

- Develop and implement strategies to strengthen employee engagement, morale, and productivity

- Build scalable HR practices to support growth and continuously improve HR processes

- Manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding, from job postings and interviews through new hire orientation

### Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally 5 to 7 years

- Broad experience across employee relations, investigations, performance management, talent, and core HR operations

- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including leave administration (FMLA/ADA)

- Experience running an annual people cycle: performance reviews, talent and succession reviews, and compensation planning

- Hands-on recruiting and onboarding experience

- Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and handle sensitive matters with discretion

- Ability to work on-site in St. Charles, IL

### Preferred

- SHRM-SCP or SPHR

- Experience in a growing or entrepreneurial environment, including acquisition integration

- Multi-site or organizational change/transformation experience

- Experience operating as a lean or one-person HR function

- Transportation, logistics, or other multi-site operations background
