### Position Description

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Process Equipment to join our engineering team and work on national and international industrial projects. The professional will be responsible for the technical development of mechanical process equipment, from conceptual studies to detailed engineering, supporting all phases of the project life cycle, including Greenfield projects, Brownfield projects, industrial plant expansions, and modernization initiatives.

### Responsibilities

- Develop technical solutions for static and rotating equipment applied to industrial processes.
- Prepare technical specifications, descriptive memorials, and equipment datasheets.
- Define design criteria and technical requirements for equipment procurement.
- Prepare technical requisitions for purchasing processes.
- Perform technical analysis of commercial proposals and supplier documentation.
- Participate in technical meetings with clients, manufacturers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop equipment lists and engineering documentation.
- Review vendor drawings and manufacturing documentation.
- Support technical inspections, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
- Provide technical support during manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, and plant start-up.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and international standards requirements.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks related to process equipment.
- Contribute to the standardization of technical specifications and continuous improvement of internal processes.
- Work on projects involving centrifugal pumps, slurry pumps, API pumps, compressors, industrial fans, blowers, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, atmospheric tanks, reactors, process columns, filters, thickeners, cyclones, crushers, mills, industrial screens, material handling systems, water treatment equipment, and mineral processing equipment.

### Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Active CREA registration.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial projects.
- Experience in engineering consulting, EPC, or EPCM companies.
- Proven experience in mining, mineral processing, oil & gas, energy, sanitation, or process industry sectors.
- Solid knowledge of rotating and static equipment, equipment selection, mechanical sizing, technical specification, proposal analysis, vendor documentation, multidisciplinary engineering, feasibility studies, and technical interface management.
- Desirable knowledge of standards such as API 610, API 617, API 618, API 650, API 661, ASME Section VIII, ASME B16, TEMA, HEI, ISO 13709, ISO 9001, NR-12, and NR-13.
- Desirable software knowledge in AutoCAD, Autodesk Plant 3D, AVEVA E3D, SmartPlant, PV Elite, Compress, Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, and SAP.
- Technical leadership, clear and objective communication, decision‑making ability, systemic vision, proactivity, organization, and collaborative mindset.
- Commitment to safety and quality, results‑oriented approach, and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Preferred qualifications: international project experience, EPCM contract experience, Greenfield and Brownfield project experience, advanced English, intermediate Spanish, experience with copper, iron, gold, or lithium mining, and knowledge of energy transition and green hydrogen projects.
