## Job Description

**Site Engineer – Groundworks**

Pay depending on experience

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a busy groundworks contractor working across the North West.

The role will suit someone with a strong background in residential housing developments, particularly with roads, sewers and general infrastructure works.

**The role:**

- Setting out groundworks and infrastructure works
- Roads, sewers, drainage and associated infrastructure
- Working from drawings and specifications
- Checking levels, coordinates and line/level
- Supporting the Site Manager and wider site team
- Carrying out QA checks and keeping accurate records
- Working closely with subcontractors and groundworks teams

**Looking for:**

- Previous Site Engineering experience within the housing sector – essential
- Strong experience with roads, sewers and drainage
- Confident setting out using surveying equipment
- Able to read and understand construction drawings
- Good understanding of groundworks and residential development
- CSCS and relevant engineering qualifications
