Based in Belfast and currently recruiting for a Civils Site Supervisor, your new employer is a leading utility and infrastructure contractor delivering essential water and wastewater projects across the UK and Ireland. With a reputation for safely delivering complex infrastructure works, they continue to secure major investment programmes within the water sector. Due to sustained growth and an increasing pipeline of projects, they are now seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join their expanding water division.

Based in Belfast, this role will require travel throughout the UK.

Your new role

As Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of water infrastructure projects, overseeing multiple site teams across water main rehabilitation, pipeline replacement and new pipeline construction schemes.You will be responsible for supervising direct labour and subcontract gangs, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme. Working closely with Site Managers, Project Managers and client representatives, you will coordinate daily site activities, maintain high standards of health and safety, monitor productivity, and ensure quality standards are achieved across several live projects.Key responsibilities include:Supervising multiple operational gangs across water infrastructure projectsCoordinating daily site activities and resourcesEnsuring compliance with health, safety and environmental requirementsMonitoring programme delivery and reporting progress to managementLiaising with clients, local authorities and stakeholdersCompleting site records, permits and project documentationMaintaining quality standards throughout construction and rehabilitation works

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience supervising civil engineering or utilities projects, ideally within the water sector.You will also possess:Proven experience overseeing multiple site teams or gangsStrong knowledge of water main rehabilitation, pipeline installation or utilities projectsA solid understanding of health and safety legislation and site complianceExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to manage workloads across several sites simultaneouslyFull UK driving licenceSSSTS or SMSTS qualification (preferred)CSCS card and relevant utility sector certifications
