### Social Care Worker – Children’s Residential Services

Full-Time | Permanent | 39 Hours per Week

TTM Healthcare is currently recruiting a Social Care Worker on behalf of one of Ireland’s leading providers of mainstream children’s residential services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Social Care Worker who is passionate about supporting children and young people within a professional, therapeutic residential environment.

### Salary

€40,351 – €56,650 LSI per annum, depending on experience and incremental credit:

€40,351 | €41,908 | €43,826 | €45,229 | €46,647 | €48,072 | €49,520 | €50,990 | €52,473 | €54,012 | €55,599 | €56,650 LSI

Highly competitive premium rates are also payable for unsociable hours.

### Essential Requirements

- Applicants must meet the relevant CORU requirements for Social Care Workers and must:

- Be registered on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU; or

- Hold a CORU-approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU registration, with evidence of application available; or

- Be eligible for registration on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU, with the appropriate supporting evidence.

- Hold an appropriate qualification in Social Care, Applied Social Studies, Applied Social Care or another recognised qualification meeting CORU requirements.

- Have the requisite knowledge, professional competence and suitability to undertake the responsibilities of the role.

- Be fully flexible to work across residential rosters, including unsociable hours where required.

- Hold a full, clean Irish manual driving license.

- Be eligible to live and work in Ireland.

### The Role

As a Social Care Worker, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary residential team supporting children and young people in a safe, structured and nurturing environment.

You will help young people develop independence, resilience and life skills while contributing to individual care plans, safeguarding, positive behaviour support and the effective day-to-day operation of the residential service.
