$95-$119 per hour

### About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to design and build scalable systems that ensure compliance of user activity data, particularly log data. You will work closely with policy owners, feature developers, and data consumers to enable secure, standardized, and efficient data governance across the organization.

### Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for data compliance and governance

- Build infrastructure to enforce policy compliance on user activity and log data

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement safe and consistent data handling practices

- Develop and optimize systems for large-scale data processing

- Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of backend services

- Contribute to architecture and system design decisions

### Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong programming experience in C++, Java, Kotlin

- Proven experience in backend/server‑side development

- Hands‑on experience with large‑scale data systems or distributed systems

- Solid understanding of data processing infrastructure and pipelines

- Ability to design and build scalable and reliable systems

### Experience

- 7–10 years of professional software development experience for Level 3

- 3-5 years of professional software development experience for Level 2

- Demonstrated experience working on production‑grade systems in an industry setting
