## Job Description

Special Education Teacher 36-week contract in Easton, Maryland. Provide specialized educational services to elementary students with disabilities. Earn up to $55 per hour based on experience.

- Provide specialized educational services to elementary students with disabilities including OHI, learning disabilities, autism, and language impairment.

- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

- Assess students' progress and adjust instruction methods to meet their needs.

- Maintain accurate documentation and record-keeping for compliance and reporting.

- Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to create inclusive learning environments.

- Certified Special Education Teacher.

- Minimum 1 year experience handling caseloads involving OHI, learning disabilities, autism, and language impairment.

- Ability to work in elementary settings and serve a caseload of 10-15 students.

- Background in providing services inside general education settings.

- Soft skills: patience, adaptability, and strong communication.

- Physical ability to perform classroom duties.

- Background check required.
