ChristianaCare is recruiting for a per diem Speech Language Pathologist to work a minimum of two weekend days per month. Availability to work one to three additional weekday shifts per week and/or weekend shifts as available is highly desired. In this position, you will assess and treat adults with communication and swallowing disorders in inpatient acute and rehabilitation settings.

With an emphasis on patient-family centered care, we specialize in a variety of services with a dynamic interdisciplinary/trans-disciplinary team approach.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations

- Develop and implement appropriate treatment programs to include family specific goals and time frames

- Provide patient and family education and training

Education and experience requirements:

- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology

- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware

- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CF Certification

- CPR Certification

- Acute care experience preferred
