# Supply Chain Analyst

## Job Description

Purpose and role of job:

Supports the supply planning function by developing and maintaining the data, models, and reporting required to build accurate supply plans and support SIOP decision-making. Ensures planning inputs are accurate, timely, and actionable.

Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:

Safety

· Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.

· Follows necessary regulations/guidelines.

Planning Analytics & Reporting

· Develop and maintain SIOP dashboards and reports (Power BI)

· Prepare monthly SIOP reporting package and KPIs

· Analyze performance versus plan (forecast, production, inventory)

· Identify trends, risks, and opportunities

Forecast & Demand Support

· Maintain demand history and forecast datasets

· Develop and consolidate the sales forecast

· Track forecast accuracy, bias, and forecast drivers

Supply & Inventory Modeling

· Maintain inventory projections, capacity models, and line loading models

· Perform scenario analysis and what-if modeling

Production Planning Support

· Provide planners with accurate demand, inventory, and capacity inputs

· Facilitate linkage between mid/long-range forecasts and short-term production planning

· Perform analysis of constraints and schedule scenarios

· Support production scheduling activities including the creation and release of work orders

Data Integrity & Systems

· Maintain planning master data

· Ensure consistency across ERP, reports, and planning tools

· Support data integration and automation initiatives

Education and experience requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field

· 5+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or operations planning in a manufacturing environment

· Experience leading planning teams

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Experience with ERP systems (JDE, SAP preferred), advanced Excel or planning tools, and Power BI tools preferred

· Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change

Work Environment:

Office / Administration

Physical Requirements:

· Constant sitting with frequent walking/standing during shift.

· Occasional bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching overhead throughout shift.

· Occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds.

· Occasional repetitive use of hands.
