## Job Description

**NP/PA Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery - Covington, LA****Availability** **Start Date:** January 26, 2026 **Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM **Call:** Required Nights, weekends, and holidays **Call Type:** 2nd Call / Backup **Response Time:** 30 minutes

**Practice Setting**

**Setting:** Hospital-based **Responsibilities:** Assigned inpatient rounding First assist with cardiothoracic surgeon

**Patients Per Shift:** Approximately 13 **EMR:** Epic

**Clinical Focus**

**Specialty:** Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery **Required Skills:** Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) Radial artery endoscopic harvesting

**Candidate Requirements (Quick Screen)**

**Role:** Nurse Practitioner First Assist or Physician Assistant **Experience:** Minimum 3 years preferred **Board Certification:** Required **Fellowship Training:** Preferred **Certifications:** ACLS - Required BLS - Required
