Perm - Physician Assistant (PA) - Orthopedic Surgery - Brattleboro, VT

What You ll Do:

- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions

- Perform patient evaluations and develop treatment plans under supervision

- Assist in surgical procedures and manage pre/post-operative care

- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results

- Conduct orthopedic procedures such as joint injections and office-based interventions

- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, recovery, and rehabilitation

- Document all patient interactions accurately and timely

- Participate in rotational call coverage and team collaboration

- Support quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital safety standards

What You Need:

- Current Vermont medical license and PA-C certification

- Minimum 1 year of related clinical experience (not accepting new grads)

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

- Strong communication, assessment, and procedural skills

- Ability to work effectively in a clinical and surgical setting
