## Job Description

We are seeking an experienced **Vascular Surgeon** for an opportunity in the **Bronx, New York**. This role offers the chance to practice a full scope of vascular surgery in a busy hospital setting serving a diverse, high-acuity patient population.

Position Overview 
- Specialty: Vascular Surgery
- Location: Bronx, NY
- Position Type: Locum Tenens with potential for Permanent placement
- Start Date: ASAP (upon credentialing)
- Priority: High

Schedule & Coverage 
- Hospital-based vascular surgery service
- Inpatient consults and procedures
- On-call responsibilities as part of the vascular call rotation
- Flexible scheduling options for locums coverage

Scope of Practice 
- Full-scope vascular surgery
- Inpatient and emergency consults
- Management of complex vascular disease
- Collaboration with surgery, ICU, interventional radiology, and hospitalist teams

Support & Environment 
- Established surgical and anesthesia support
- Dedicated OR staff and ICU coverage
- Multidisciplinary care team
- High patient volume with strong clinical support

Candidate Requirements 
- MD/DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Vascular Surgery
- Active New York medical license (or in process)
- Comfortable managing high-acuity inpatient cases
- Strong teamwork and communication skills

Compensation
