Job Description **Direct Counsel is representing a reputable law firm** seeking an **International Tax Associate** to join its **Miami office.**

**About the Role**

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with at least **2 years of experience in international private client tax matters**. The associate will work on sophisticated cross-border tax and estate planning matters for high-net-worth individuals and international clients.

**Responsibilities**

- Advise clients on:U.S. cross-border income tax and estate planning
- Expatriation matters
- Pre-immigration tax planning
- Inbound and outbound tax planning
- International private client tax issues

- Conduct legal research and draft tax planning memoranda and related documents
- Manage complex client matters in a fast-paced environment
- Work closely with attorneys and clients on international tax strategies and compliance matters

**Qualifications**

- Minimum 2 years of international tax experience focused on private client matters
- LL.M. in Taxation required
- Strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Previous law firm experience preferred
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage a demanding workload
- Must be admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for admission
