Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to nursing education and certification. Requirements- Hold a current, unrestricted Virginia license or multistate licensure privilege as a registered nurse.- Two years of experience as a registered nurse and at least one year of direct client care or supervisory experience in the provision of long-term care services. Experiences may include employment in a nurse aide education program or employment in, or supervision of nursing students in, a nursing facility or unit, geriatrics department, chronic care hospital, home care, or other long-term care setting.- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and regulations.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and healthcare professionals.- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on industry advancements.
