The specialist ensures high-quality and compliant visual content by overseeing the research and analysis of source data, guiding standards and processes, and maintaining an accessible illustration library. Additionally, the role involves project oversight and stakeholder engagement to align deliverables with technical and customer requirements.Ideal candidates have a forward-thinking mindset and the ability to evaluate emerging technologies and tools essential to continually enhance visual support products and services.Position Responsibilities: Manages the image approval process for multiple product support teamsLeads conceptualizing, creating, designing, and modifying complex detailed illustrations, graphics, full color animations and interactive electronic mediaOversees or leads research and analysis of source data or designs to inform illustration and graphics creation and provides recommendationsConsults on illustration and graphics development standards, processes, and procedures for support engineering products and servicesOversees maintaining and storing illustration and graphics for accessibilityLeads ensuring product compliance with applicable standards and specificationsPerforms project oversight activities, stakeholder management, and provides technical consultationOversees and leads investigating emerging technologies, techniques, tools, and processes and provides recommendationsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience with assigning Illustration Control Numbers (ICNs) for an S1000D application3+ years of experience maintaining an illustrations libraryPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience.
