Job Description:

The Tooling Supervisor responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, supporting production and other functions in a team-based environment. In this capacity the Supervisor will effectively communicate status, tooling goals and objectives, assess skill and complexity of tasks, issue work assignments, and establish expectations for task completion to meet scheduled performance goals. Ensure process integrity to include safety, quality, schedule & cost.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the tool-making field. Must have completed required coursework in the field.

Computer Skills:

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Ability to learn new software as needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must regularly list and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently and/or move up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
