This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of logistics sales, dispatching, and freight brokerage activities, ensuring timely deliveries while maximizing operational profitability.DutiesCoordinate and dispatch freight loads efficiently using transportation management systemsBuild and maintain strong relationships with carriers, shippers, and clients through proactive communication and exceptional customer service.Negotiate rates, contracts, and service terms to optimize freight pricing and carrier utilization.Manage transportation sales efforts by lead generation, inside sales activities, and developing new business opportunities within the supply chain sector.Oversee dispatching operations, including data entry, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)Plan transportation routes considering logistics constraints, transportation planning best practices, and cost efficiency.RequirementsProven experience in supply chain management, transportation management systems (TMS), or logistics sales roles such as freight or logistics sales.Strong knowledge of B2B sales processes, account management, negotiation skills, and contract management.Familiarity with transportation planning, carrier sales, freight brokerage operations, and dispatching procedures.Excellent communication skills for inside sales activities, lead generation efforts, and customer relationship management.Ability to analyze logistics data to optimize pricing strategies and transportation routes.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
