About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Asset Management and Portfolio Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the oversight, governance, and portfolio support of a growing portfolio of privately held assets. This role involves being the primary coordinator of day-to-day operational requirements for a multi-billion portfolio, working in partnership with the investment team and various shared resources in legal, tax, insurance, risk, treasury, and audit.

The Vice President will also support the oversight of individual portfolio assets, partner with the management teams of portfolio companies, and contribute to the development and communication of the investment strategy and performance for the natural resources platform. A hands-on approach, tactical responsibilities, and a flexible, can-do attitude are essential for this position. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree, with an MBA or CFA preferred, and 7-10 years of experience in a similar capacity.

Experience in private equity or venture capital funds, particularly those focusing on natural resources or real assets, is highly valued. The role requires a professional with a strong background in portfolio oversight, finance, and a proven track record in corporate governance. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work within a matrixed reporting environment, possess strong financial and analytical skills, and demonstrate gravitas in engaging with senior executives.

Excellent communication, attention to detail, and a results-oriented approach are also key attributes. The role demands a willingness to travel and the ability to manage relationships with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.
