About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President and Principal Engineer to lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of enterprise data, AI, and application platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for building the AI foundation that supports data-driven decisions, designing scalable architecture, and ensuring the delivery of trusted, well-governed solutions. This role requires a hands-on technology leader with a strong background in data and architecture, who can also manage and grow high-performing data engineering teams.

Key responsibilities include leading the development of enterprise applications, partnering with business stakeholders, and driving data governance and AI readiness. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, over 10 years of experience in technology leadership, and a genuine enthusiasm for AI and emerging technologies. Applicants for the Vice President and Principal Engineer position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in technology leadership, data platform engineering, or solution architecture.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading data engineering or software development teams is also required. The role demands a candidate with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, proficiency in modern programming languages, and expertise in full-stack development. Experience in systems and application architecture, data and platforms, as well as cloud, DevOps, and security, is essential.

The company values candidates with a strong background in SQL, relational databases, and modern data lakehouse platforms, as well as those with experience in cloud environments and modern security standards. Exposure to real estate or investment management systems is a significant advantage.
