## Job Description

As our Vice President of Finance, you will take full responsibility for financial and management accounting and join the local leadership team in responsibility for the day-to-day running of Belmont Park Village.

**What you will be doing**

- Provide vision, direction and leadership to the Finance function, managing four direct reports: Accounting Director, FP&A Manager, Brand Accountant and IT Manager (with their own direct report).
- Hold end responsibility for all finance-related activities across the Village and related entities.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual investor and lender reporting including financial statements, capital statements, waterfalls and GAAP reporting.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and performance management across revenue, costs, capex and cash.
- Drive personnel cost forecasting and governance in partnership with the People team and stakeholders.
- Review and approve reconciliations, close outputs and financial statements prepared by the Accounting Director.
- Oversee cash management, liquidity and financial risk.
- Lead external auditors and the year-end audit process.
- Sponsor continuous improvement of finance systems and data in partnership with IT.
- Support the management team in shaping strategy through financial insight.

**What makes you special**

- Proven finance leadership experience in real estate, retail, hospitality or a similar industry.
- Master’s degree and/or MBA required; professional accounting qualification preferred.
- Strong leadership and people management capability.
- Comfortable operating at review level while able to go into detail when required.
- Experience working with investors, lenders and auditors.
- Strong understanding of financial systems; Oracle or MRI knowledge beneficial.
- Excellent analytical, communication and influencing skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages beneficial.
