## Job Description

AV AirFinance is a leading commercial aviation lending platform owned and backed by KKR, one of the world's largest alternative asset managers and a long term investor in the aviation sector. AV AirFinance arranges financing in the commercial aviation financing space to airlines, leasing companies and investors across the globe. The team has underwritten more than $5bn of loans to more than 70 airlines since the company was founded in 2021.

We are seeking a VP to join our Investments team in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. The ideal candidate should be motivated, team-focused and extremely organised.The Investments team is the engine behind the loan origination efforts of the platform, and the new VP will work closely with all aspects of the commercial side of the business, and will report to the Chief Investment Officer. This role is ideal for a candidate that is looking for a fast paced environment with a high velocity of deals to work on, and who may ultimately want to work in a senior marketing, trading or corporate finance role.

This is a hybrid role and will require min. 4 days in our office (Monday to Thursday) every week.

### Responsibilities

- Lead the financial evaluation, pricing, and structuring of aircraft leasing and financing transactions.

- Develop, maintain, and enhance sophisticated financial models to support investment analysis, transaction underwriting, and portfolio management.

- Review and challenge transaction assumptions, identifying key risks, sensitivities, and value drivers.

- Provide recommendations regarding transaction viability, risk-adjusted returns, and investment strategy.

- Partner closely with Origination, Risk, Legal, Technical, and Finance teams throughout the transaction lifecycle.

- Lead the preparation of investment committee papers, transaction memoranda, and executive-level presentations.

- Oversee airline, lessor, and portfolio credit analysis, supporting risk assessment and monitoring activities.

- Analyse industry trends, aircraft market dynamics, residual value outlooks, and macroeconomic developments impacting aviation investments.

- Produce regular management, Board, and investor reporting, highlighting portfolio performance and market developments.

- Support strategic initiatives, including portfolio acquisitions, capital markets transactions, fleet planning analyses, and business development opportunities.

- Identify opportunities to enhance Aerlytix' analytical tools, reporting capabilities, and pricing methodologies.

- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.

### Experience and Qualifications

- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in aircraft leasing, aviation finance, structured finance, investment banking, private credit, or a related field.

- Strong understanding of aircraft leasing economics, financing structures, cash flow modelling, and investment analysis.

- Demonstrated experience leading complex transaction evaluations and pricing exercises.

- Advanced financial modelling skills with expertise in Excel.

- Experience using data analytics, business intelligence, and modelling tools.

- Programming experience in Python, VBA, SQL, R, or similar analytical tools is highly desirable.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.

- Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent are advantageous.
