About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Program Management Office (SPMO) to lead the discipline, structure, and rigor of program management across its portfolio of new product development and launch programs. This hands-on leadership role involves building and leading a team of Technical Program Managers, each responsible for driving individual product launch programs from concept to general availability. The successful candidate will be responsible for portfolio prioritization, cross-functional operating rhythm, risk management, and executive-level reporting.

Key responsibilities include developing and enforcing a consistent program management methodology, toolset, and cadence, as well as partnering with various functions to align teams around program milestones and commitments. Candidates for the Vice President of SPMO position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years of technical program or project management experience, with at least 5 years in a people-leadership role. Experience in leading new product introduction or development programs in a hardware, robotics, automotive, aerospace, or complex electromechanical products environment is essential.

The role requires a strong executive presence, deep fluency in program management methodology and tools, and a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
