The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for personnel, management and coordination of patient care activities for a defined area in accordance with established philosophy, objectives and policies of the facility to ensure safe, efficient and therapeutic patient care. Works effectively with other departments. The Clinical Nurse Manager is a key stakeholder in evaluation, referral to treatment, referral management and admissions at Brattleboro Retreat and is responsible for all related processes and staff. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for the success of the following processes and key performance indicators including, but not limited to, referral processing turn-around time; referral completeness and accuracy; nursing standards and practices regarding the evaluation and admission of patients; the competencies related to the CLIA waived processes and point of care medical procedures and the staff that perform those functions; ensuring regulatory compliance for the entire admissions process and department; participating in nursing leadership meetings, performance improvement activities, and performance evaluations of staff. Requirement description : 2 years of Behavioral Health RN Leadership/Nurse Manager experience - REQUIRED Proven Leadership in Behavioral Health Nursing - REQUIRED Must be willing to float to other units and have a well rounded skill set of all age groups - REQUIRED Must be comfortable working with the LGBTQ patient population - REQUIRED PROFILE REQUIREMENTS Resume with psych experience and age groups listed Ex. Psych RN - Facility - (AGE GROUP/POPULATION) - DATES RTO cannot exceed 7 days Psych skills checklist (within the last year) 2 supervisory references from last 2 years of employment Certifications - certifications don't need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain License - confirm they are willing and eligible to obtain (please include this in the profile) COVID vaccination and booster - no longer required but please add to profile if vaccinated Driver's license or candidates address must be included in the submission packet (35 miles or less will result in rate decrease) Additional submission requirements for all Brattleboro positions CPI - offered onsite; no need to confirm at time of submission.
