What you will do: ● Maintain profitability with appropriate risk selection, analysis and service of accounts based on Cowbell Cyber Insurance guidelines across Cyber and Technology Errors & Omissions (Tech E&O) products ● Manage relationships with insurance agents to negotiate pricing, coverages and other terms ● Servicing of renewal business throughout the year while maintaining our customer service standards ● Collaboration with the Business Development team to support their goals and strengthen partnerships with agents ● Maintain an expansive knowledge of the Tech E&O and Cyber insurance marketplace and current trends in the industry ● Easily identify areas where our unique capabilities provide us with a competitive advantage and build out processes that support these ● Actively participate in determining our approach to emerging threats, loss trends, marketplace changes and other trends in Cyber and Tech E&O risks ● Partner with the Engineering and Data Science teams to continually improve our technology and deliverable to the policyholder ● Serve as a subject matter expert for team on coverage questions related to Cyber, Tech E&O, and blended policies ● Collaborate with a passionate team, have fun, grow, learn, and teach the company along the way What Cowbell needs from you: ● Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. ● Minimum 2 years of underwriting experience, preferably in Cyber and/or Technology Errors & Omissions ● Technical expertise and product knowledge in Commercial Insurance ● Demonstrate ability to develop new renewable Cyber and Tech E&O business profitably over a significant period of time ● Knowledge of marketing principles, underwriting and pricing strategies ● Superb sales and marketing skills; must be able to demonstrate successful agency and broker management, including building, maintaining and managing producer and customer relationships ● Proven ability to successfully negotiate on all levels and develop producer relationships ● Strong track record of service orientation and teamwork Equal Employment Opportunity: We are committed to equal opportunity in the terms and conditions of employment for all employees and job applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, gender identity or gender expression, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
