About the Role

The Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with wholesale clients in the fashion and apparel industry. This role involves managing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate should have a passion for fashion, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

How You'll Contribute

Client Relationship Management:

· Serve as the main point of contact for assigned wholesale accounts.

· Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, including department stores.

· Regularly communicate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and any upcoming trends.

Sales and Business Development
:

· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential wholesale clients.

· Present product lines to clients, including seasonal collections, ensuring alignment with their business needs.

· Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales.

Account Management
:

· Manage day-to-day operations related to order placement, tracking, and fulfillment.

· Collaborate with internal teams such as design, production, and logistics to ensure timely product delivery.

· Resolve any issues or concerns related to orders, payments, or product quality.

· Prepare sales reports, analyze data, and forecast sales trends for existing accounts.

Market Research & Trend Analysis
:

· Stay updated on current fashion trends, market demands, and competitor activities.

· Provide insights and recommendations to clients on emerging fashion trends and product offerings.

Trade Shows and Events
:

· Represent the company at industry trade shows, events, and meetings with key clients.

· Organize and participate in client meetings, presentations, and showroom appointments to showcase new collections.

Requirements:

· Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the fashion or apparel industry.

· Strong knowledge of fashion trends, market dynamics, and wholesale distribution channels.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

· Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and order management systems.

· Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
