Title: Accountant
Location: Toronto, ON
Type: Temporary - 2 Year Contract
Salary: $23.00 - 28.00/Hour
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all project based accounting functions
- Ensure all invoicing is submitted accurately and on time
- Verify expense coding
- Manage project deadlines from a finance standpoint
- Maintain project budget and perform variance analysis
- Deal with both internal and external stakeholders
- Journal entries
- Assist with month end close
- Assist with audit based tasks as it relates to the project
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience with accounting – preference will be given to candidates with project accounting experience
- Must have experience with power bi and power query
- Advanced level excel skills are a must
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- College or university diploma/degree within accounting or finance required
