Position: Accountant (Manufacturing Industry)
Our client, a well-established manufacturer specializing in castings, is looking for an experienced Accountant. The ideal candidate should be from Bhilai and have a background in manufacturing, handling both Accounts and GST.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting tasks like payments, invoices, ledgers and bank transactions
- Maintain financial records, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements and cash flow reports
- Ensure accurate taxation records and GST compliance, including filing and reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Support external audits and tax filings
Qualifications:
- B.Com./M.Com. or similar accounting degree
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or a CA firm
- Knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
- Experience with Tally, accounting software, and MS Excel
- Background in manufacturing is preferred
