Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Trivandrum for an Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additional day-to-day tasks include managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, preparing tax returns, and analyzing financial data. The Accountant will work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and support decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting skills, including managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and tax preparation.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus.
