About the Role
The
Finance & Accounting Manager
leads all financial operations for our cafés and roastery, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and scalability as we grow. This role is both strategic and hands-on, balancing the daily rhythm of accounting and reporting with the big-picture work of building better systems for tomorrow.

What You'll Do
- Financial Stewardship:
Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process—accurate, on time, and compliant. - Purchasing & Contracts:
Manage vendor negotiations, purchasing systems, leases, and contracts with a focus on cost efficiency. - Scorecard & Reporting:
Deliver clear, consistent financial scorecards, variance reports, and insights for leadership and operations teams. - Systems & Support:
Partner with IT and operations to improve systems, processes, and accounting tools. - Team & Growth:
Build scalable systems, refine processes, and strengthen the accounting team's capacity for growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (
CPA preferred
). - 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ in multi-unit hospitality or retail.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and lease accounting.
- Experience with ERP or restaurant systems (e.g., R365, NetSuite, Sage).
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
