GoHero Home Services is a home service company in Knoxville, TN. We were founded in 2004 by, U.S. Air Force veteran, Robert Keith. He set out to apply the military’s disciplines of integrity, excellence and teamwork to the home service industry. We are the best of the best. All of our team members are background checked, drug tested and professionally trained in their specialized crafts.

About the Opportunity

The Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of essential clerical and administrative tasks, offering support across administrative, office, and human resources functions.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Welcomes and directs visitors and clients.
  • Maintains filing systems as assigned.
  • Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
  • Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
  • Coordinates and schedules travel, meetings, and appointments for managers or supervisors.
  • Prepares agendas and schedules for meetings.
  • Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings.
  • Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Job Requirements


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
  • Ability to work independently.


Administrative Support

  • Perform all admin duties assigned
  • Classifying calls and reconciling abandoned leads
  • Depositing checks


Office Support

  • Support and assist all Office Staff in various duties as assigned
  • Mailing invoices or flyers to clients
  • Filing receipts and other paperwork
  • Light Cleaning
  • Ordering and occasionally picking up supplies
  • Booking recurring services
  • Reception duties
  • Reconciling PO's and receipts
  • Verify that Gray Hodges is being paid on a weekly basis for truck deliveries
  • Update Revenue Board
  • Make client folders


Human Resources Support

  • Support and assist HR in various duties as assigned
