Advanced Planning Consultant
on behalf of one of the nation's premier financial services firms.
The Advanced Planning team provides consultative and educational financial planning support to more than
2,000 independent financial advisors
nationwide. In this role, you will serve as a
technical resource and subject matter expert
across a broad range of wealth management strategies — including
estate, tax, and charitable planning; social security strategies; education savings; executive compensation; business succession; and retirement income planning.

collaborative, bi-coastal team of 14 professionals

Key Responsibilities
- Review and summarize complex financial and legal documents to educate financial advisors
- Identify potential issues across a variety of wealth management projects, including estate and business succession planning, executive compensation, and trust design
- Evaluate clients' planning objectives and help identify opportunities to meet their goals
- Coach advisors on how to lead client relationships and collaborate effectively with attorneys, CPAs, and other professionals
- Support advisors in understanding strategic planning concepts and communicating them clearly to clients

- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple dynamic projects across a range of financial disciplines
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and article writing
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a consultative, team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- JD required
; estate planning background preferred - CFP
(or willingness to obtain) strongly preferred - Prior experience in financial services or advanced planning highly desirable
