The position entails the following tasks :
- Deal execution
- Client coverage
- Coordination with other métiers to develop cross-selling activities in the LTFG / SFI area in Spain and Portugal.
Key Responsibilities :
- Execution of structured financing transactions :
- Analysis of available information, including vendor and buyer DD reports;
- Preparation of all internal credit documentation, including complex financial modeling, credit application, rating assessment, and PI calculation;
- Preparation of all internal requirements to close transactions, such as validation of rating and Phidias, management of KYC process, submission of front sheet and WRM Memo, if required.
- Assistance in negotiating legal documentation : Term Sheet, SFA, ICA, Fee Letter, etc.
- Follow-up on closed transactions :
- Analysis of periodic financial information;
- Preparation of internal credit follow-up processes, including internal notes to review company performance, rating assessment, Phidias, and profitability calculation.
- Engaging with clients at a junior level.
- Performing debt capacity analysis and producing pitches.
- Screen potential transactions and review relevant company information.
- Collaborate with other departments, especially DOD, HYCM, GIB, Ratings, and IRS, to generate cross-selling opportunities.
Knowledge needed :
- General understanding of national and international economy and finance.
- In-depth knowledge of available debt instruments (recourse and non-recourse).
- Advanced risk identification, analysis, and mitigation skills.
Qualifications / Education Required :
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- Strong academic record.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
Experience Required :
- Extensive experience in structuring financing transactions.
- Experience with leveraged finance structuring features.
- Proficiency in financial modeling.
- High proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Solid understanding of financing and analytical skills, including accounting principles, international accounting standards, valuation principles, financial statement consolidation, and legal knowledge.
