Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Lucknow for an Assistant Fashion Designer. The Assistant Fashion Designer will be responsible for assisting in the creation of fashion designs, coordinating with the lead designer, and helping with the selection of fabrics and materials. This role involves working closely with the design and production teams to create samples, overseeing fittings and ensuring the garments meet quality standards. The Assistant Fashion Designer will also support embroidery work and ensure that the technical details of the designs are accurately executed.
Qualifications
- Skills in Fashion Design and Fashion
- Experience with Embroidery techniques
- Knowledge of Textiles and Fabric selection
- Ability to oversee Fittings and garment quality assurance
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Formal education in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in a fashion design role or internship is beneficial
