Overview:
Provides the leadership, direction and support to cooks, dishwashers and back of house trainers in the successful operation of the restaurant.
Assistant Kitchen Manager Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: 4+ years of management in casual dining -full bar
- High-energy, outgoing personality
- People-First Mentality: thrives on a team in growing company to achieve targeted food and labor costs
- Maintains a working knowledge of all recipes, product and production procedures.
- Responsible for ordering all food products according to predetermined product specifications
Assistant Kitchen Manager Preferred Background and Skills:
- Manage inventory and warehouse of products.
Assistant Kitchen Manager Must Haves:
- Knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation, local alcohol and safety and security procedures
- Able to stand and/or walk for up to 10 hours. ▪ Able to reach, bend and wipe
