Role & responsibilities
The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for both new business and retention of existing clients. He establishes and maintains strong business relationships with clients. He/She provides quotations to new prospects in accordance to the guidelines, risk management and underwriting profitability. He/She also handles renewal policies, clients enquiries relating to all insurance products and delivers corporate presentations. He/She must be results oriented and possess a deep passion for sales. He/She must possess good interpersonal skills to deliver a personalised experience for his/her clients.
Assistant Sales Manager for Heavy Machinery Industry
Tasks
- Collate, update and maintain market and competitors' activities on a monthly basis.
- Interpret market trends and developments.
- Lead and manage the activities of sales and marketing staff.
- Manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Plan and organise sales campaigns and promotions.
- Review client feedback to improve on client service delivery.
Preferred Profile: Assisting the Assistant Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to increase market share and profitability. Helping to set sales goals and targets, and monitoring the team's performance to ensure these are met or exceeded.
