Associate/Principal Environmental Consultant, Contaminated Land Management

Join WSP as an Associate or Principal Environmental Consultant specializing in Contaminated Land Management. Contribute to landmark projects and work with a global team dedicated to making a positive impact. We are experiencing growth and are looking for experts in contaminated land and groundwater, particularly in the Oil & Gas, Defence, Transport Infrastructure, and Industrial sectors.

We offer a hybrid work arrangement with flexibility for office and remote work, and regional project travel may be required. As a leader, you will drive technical excellence, foster client relationships, and mentor team members across the full lifecycle of contaminated site assessments, including:

  • Legacy industrial sites
  • Transport infrastructure projects
  • Property transaction due diligence
  • Downstream oil and gas sites
  • Defence projects
  • Industrial asset transition
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide innovative leadership and challenge the status quo
  • Lead and scope complex projects
  • Conduct technical reviews and sign-offs
  • Mentor and develop team capabilities
  • Drive market share growth in key sectors
  • Develop and manage client relationships
  • Oversee marketing and client engagement activities
  • Promote a safety-focused culture
  • Collaborate across technical disciplines
About You

You bring extensive experience in leading high-profile contaminated sites projects, with strong knowledge of NSW regulations and sector expertise in Transport & Infrastructure, Industrial, Defence, or Oil & Gas. Your skills include risk management, client relationship development, and leadership that inspires and motivates teams.
