Job Description
QA Automation Tester (using Squish) is responsible for:
- Working closely with QA and validation team members, developers, and product manager to understand requirements, resolve issues, and provide feedback
- Write, execute, and debug automated test scripts for various testing types (functional, regression, performance, API, UI)
- Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Communicate test progress, risks, and challenges effectively to the team and management.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on testability and potential issues
- Analyze test results, identify failures, and report bugs with detailed information in Azure DevOps, including escalation to QA manager and Product manager for prioritization and resolution
- Create any required documentation to support testing and include in the Azure DevOps project to support closure of work items
