Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a highly skilled engineering team building cutting-edge creative and content-driven applications.
- Own the full API lifecycle, including design, implementation, monitoring, optimization, and documentation.
- Implement API security, authentication, rate limiting, and monitoring to ensure systems perform reliably at scale.
- Contribute to improving the performance, reliability, and quality of existing codebases.
- Work cross-functionally to support both internal and external product needs under fast-paced development cycles.
Requirements
:
- 4+ years of professional experience in backend-focused software engineering.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., TypeScript, Python, Go, or Java).
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including query optimization and schema design.
- Hands-on experience designing and scaling production systems using cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions under tight timelines.
- Strong collaboration skills and willingness to learn from and support teammates.
