About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Backend Software Developer with 2–3 years of experience in a product-based company. The role involves developing and maintaining scalable backend systems, APIs, and services that power our applications. Prior experience in Quick Commerce, eCommerce, or other consumer-facing platforms will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend systems and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Build and manage APIs (RESTful/GraphQL) to support product functionalities.
- Optimize application performance and database queries for scalability.
- Ensure application reliability, security, and performance standards are met.
- Work with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure) for hosting and deployment.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and best practices for software development.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and help improve overall system design.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2-3 years of hands-on backend development experience in a product-based company.
- Proficiency in backend programming language Node.js(must have), Python, etc.
- Experience with frameworks such as Express.js and Graphql.
- Strong understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL – MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis).
- Exposure to microservices architecture, APIs, and event-driven systems like Kafka/RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) will be a plus.
- Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ and Kafka for event-driven systems.
- Experience with Elastic Search will be considered a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments.
- Proven ability to prioritize, manage and execute projects with self-starting attitude, responsibility, and accountability
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Should be comfortable working in evening shift (from 2pm IST onwards)
