Purpose:
\n
The Branch Sales Manager (BSM) will be responsible for applying sales strategies in an effort to grow HCC’s business at new and existing customer sites with an emphasis on the manufacturing sector. The BSM will work to sell HCC’s parts washer and environmental services to facilities that include small to medium size industrial and automotive repair businesses. Continuous growth of branch sales will be key to this position. The BSM will be provided with a car allowance and is expected to drive their personal vehicle as part of this role.

Specific Duties:
\n
\nResponsible for engaging in and promoting safe work behaviors in a manner that is consistent with all HCC safety guidelines\nResponsible for customer service and new business development in a certain geographic area as assigned by the Company\nPursues additional services with existing accounts\nAssesses potential customer needs, presents HCC products and services to customers, and develops new customers\nPerforms managerial duties in lieu of Branch Manager on an interim basis as needed\nPerform field tests and proper sampling of various waste streams at customer sites\nDevelops sales leads for Data-Marketing\nAssist HCC field sales representatives in sales activities in relation to new customer accounts\nComplete all required paperwork accurately and neatly\nMaintains compliance with all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements\nAchieve sales quotas for total revenue and new customer development\nAdhere to all corporate policies and standards including but not limited to environmental, health, & safety (EHS), human resources, facility, equipment, operations and maintenance.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned\n\n

\nStrong communication skills and attention to detail\nAbility to interact with customers, sales branch employees, and other corporate departments\nAbility to operate equipment such as electronic mobile devices, computers, office equipment, etc.\nAbility to operate equipment such as hoses, pumps, all truck equipment, etc.\nAbility to increase sales and foster growth of all lines of business\n\n

Work Experience:
\n
\nSales experience required (HCC sales preferred)\nIndustrial sales experience preferred\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Access)\n\n
\n
Education, Certificates, Licenses, or Designations:
\n
\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\nAbility to obtain Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and Med Card with HAZMAT and Airbrake Endorsements preferred\nAbility to obtain TWIC/rapid gate/port pass preferred\nMotor vehicle record (MVR) that meets or exceeds HCC’s published standards including, but not limited to the following;\n
\nSeat belt and cell phone violations\nExcessive speeding\nDUI, suspension and/or multiple vehicle collisions\n\n\n\n
\n
Personal Protective Equipment*:
\n
\nAbility to wear personal protective equipment, which may include a respirator, steel toe boots, gloves, uniform, safety glasses, reflective vest, and hard hats\n\n
\n
Physical Requirements*:
\n
\nFrequent lifting of materials that typically weigh 54-80lbs\nFrequent pushing/pulling of 16-55 gallon drums or larger containers of waste/product using HCC-approved equipment for safe material handling, drum weight may exceed 400lbs\nFrequent lifting of hoses weighing up to 55lbs.\nFrequent climbing of ladders to access approved waste streams\nOccasionally pulling/dragging of hoses weighing up to 55lbs each\nFrequent lifting of grates, manhole covers, and other plates to access approved waste streams\nAll applicants must pass the pre-employment physical including drug & alcohol screening\n\n

Work Environment*:

While performing essential duties of this position an individual regularly works in a variety of environments, and is required to see, talk, hear, reach, stand, walk, drive frequently, and comfortably use electronic devices and other office equipment. Essential duties require bending, squatting, climbing, lifting and twisting frequently. Noise level in the workplace can vary based upon the work environment. The average annual earning potential for this position is $75,000 - $100,000, and includes benefits such as the following:

The compensation for this role is comprised of a weekly base salary plus uncapped commission. Actual total earnings will vary based on performance and location and may fall outside of the range shown.
