Job description & requirements

We are currently recruiting a commercially driven Brand Manager to join the UK arm of a specialist European Food Group, focusing on a diverse portfolio SKUs across fresh, ambient and frozen categories.

Reporting to a Senior Brand Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing the annual commercial marketing plan for an established portfolio, managing a dedicated marketing budget. This role is focused on driving sales and category growth by commercialising existing products through best-in-class execution

Responsibilities include:

  • Brand Communication & Execution: Lead the creation and delivery of compelling brand communications across all channels, with a strong focus on shopper marketing materials and impactful in-store execution.
  • Digital & Online Strategy: Plan, manage, and optimise digital marketing activities, including performance marketing, social media, and retailer dotcom support, to drive online sales and brand engagement.
  • Agency & Retailer Management: Act as the main point of contact for external partners, including creative agencies, and effectively manage relationships and co-marketing activities with key retail customer marketing agencies .
  • Data Insights & Analysis: Utilise sales data, consumer insights, and analytical tools to measure the effectiveness of all campaigns, ensuring continuous improvement and maximising marketing ROI .
  • Budget Management: Management of marketing budget, ensuring spend is effective, accurate, and aligned with strategic brand objectives.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a candidate with a strong foundation in FMCG Food Marketing who is ready to take the next step in their career.

  • Proven experience as either an existing Brand Manager in a smaller organisation or a high-performing Assistant Brand Manager in a large blue-chip FMCG company.
  • Experience within the Food/Beverage sector
  • A demonstrable track record in brand communications, executing successful digital and online marketing strategies, and generating actionable data insights to evaluate performance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional execution and manage complex external agency relationships.
