About The Role
The Boeing Company, through its subsidiary Argon ST, is seeking a highly motivated Business Process Analyst to join our Fairfax, VA office. The successful candidate will serve as the CMMI Compliance focal/lead, playing a crucial role in ensuring that all programs within Argon ST adhere to the CMMI model standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of process improvement, quality assurance, and compliance within a cutting-edge aerospace environment. The Business Process Analyst will collaborate closely with engineering, quality teams, and senior leadership to develop, implement, and maintain robust processes that support organizational excellence. The role involves conducting assessments, preparing for formal appraisals, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and compliance across all programs.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of education and experience aligned with the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience for Level 3 or 5+ years for Level 4 in process improvement, compliance, or quality assurance roles.
- Proven experience working within a CMMI or ISO 9001 compliant environment, including conducting reviews, assessments, and audits of business process documentation.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, process frameworks, and standards applicable to aerospace or defense industries.
- Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to deliver remote and in-person training sessions effectively.
- Ability to interact with senior leadership and manage multiple stakeholders to facilitate process improvements and resource allocation.
- Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, with U.S. Citizenship required.
Responsibilities
The Business Process Analyst will be responsible for a broad range of tasks aimed at ensuring compliance and fostering continuous process improvement:
- Create, update, and review organizational processes and assets to ensure alignment with the CMMI model and other relevant standards.
- Conduct internal assessments and gap analyses against CMMI standards to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement within the Organizational Set of Standard Processes (OSSP).
- Prepare the organization for formal CMMI appraisals, including documentation, training, and readiness activities.
- Coordinate with third-party appraisers during certification activities, ensuring smooth communication and compliance.
- Collaborate with the Quality Management System (QMS) team to ensure processes meet multi-standard requirements and integrate Boeing's corporate processes into the OSSP.
- Develop and deliver training sessions, both remotely and in person, to educate teams on process standards and best practices.
- Support internal audits and root cause analysis efforts to address non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Engage with senior leadership to secure necessary resources and promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
