Job Summary
We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong financial domain expertise, specifically in risk and regulatory reporting. The role involves requirement gathering, documentation, and coordination between business stakeholders and the development team. The ideal candidate should have exposure to credit risk frameworks like Basel II / CRD V and experience working with reporting and BI tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements by interacting with stakeholders and SMEs.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and detailed documentation.
- Prepare user test cases, support UAT activities, and ensure business sign-off.
- Create and maintain documentation for developers, including BRD, FSD, and process flows.
- Collaborate with technical and development teams to ensure requirement clarity.
- Support risk and regulatory reporting activities and ensure timely delivery.
- Participate in project planning, status reporting, and requirement review meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services domain.
- Strong understanding of risk and regulatory reporting, credit risk processes, and frameworks:
- Basel II, CRD V (Capital Requirements Directive)—experience with these is highly beneficial.
- Experience working with Business Objects (other BI/reporting tools are also acceptable).
- Good knowledge of databases and writing queries (SQL, Oracle, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
