Job Overview: We are seeking a Business Analyst with 4-8 years of experience in analytics to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of broadband operations, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights.
The analyst will work closely with stakeholders to enhance service efficiency, optimize business processes, and drive data-driven decision-making. This is a cross-functional role that will directly impact revenue growth , product strategy , and service performance. Key Responsibilities:
Product Management – Act as a key liaison between the Product Manager/Owner and cross-functional business teams to continuously evaluate and refine Product-Market Fit from both market trends and business performance perspectives.
Digital Marketing – Collaborate with marketing to execute and optimize digital initiatives using data-backed insights.
AI RoadMap: Create an AI Roadmap for the organisation, to inculcate AI strategies, into our next gen solutions, for the broadband segment.
Data Engineering Path: Work closely with data engineering teams to define and advise on the requirements across products , services, solutions and business operations.
Account Analysis and Analytics: Develop comprehensive account analysis methods, making use of data and research to provide strategic analytics to the organisational and business teams, for strategic account alignment.
Analytics Tools: Research and deploy analytical tools for various parts of the business / organisation.
Operational Efficiency: Utilize analytics , tools and process optimization strategies to improve business and operational efficiencies. Apply data-driven inputs for improved decision-making.
Gap & Impact Analysis: Identify gaps in business operational processes and suggest mitigations. Conduct impact analysis & cost-benefit studies for proposed process improvements.
Business and Sales Operations – Analyse & model current business processes across operations while maintaining overall operational hygiene with various prescribed business activities.
Risk Management – Proactively identify business and process-related risks that can impact short and long-term revenue .
Drive Business Excellence – Continuously enhance and refine business processes by identifying areas for improvement and excellence through observation, research, data analysis, and reporting to management.
Best Practices – Observe, identify, document, report, and assist in executing best practices of competition in the domain, working closely with the Market Research Manager.
Documentation - Gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to broadband utility domain services
Analysis and Analytics - Perform data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for revenue , operations and service optimizations and to use data effectively as a tool to help and advice in revenue generation and revenue growth.
Cross functional collaboration - Partner with diverse teams across Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT, and Finance to identify business needs and implement new features, solutions, and process enhancements. Foster seamless coordination to drive efficiency and align strategic objectives.
Metrics - Create business metrics to support Sales , Project Teams , Product Teams , in tracking, and reporting on key broadband service performance metrics .
Compliance - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices .
Work with the Founders office – Contribute to strategic business activities such as IPO planning and cost optimization through comparative analysis and insights. Key Skills & Qualifications:
4 -8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the IT/E-com, Broadband, Telecom, or Utilities domain .
Strong understanding of analytics, data and business tools for analytics
Experience in requirement gathering, process mapping, and business case development .
Demonstrated ability to leverage analytics to drive cost efficiency and unlock revenue opportunities.
Proficiency in SQL, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, Python or other data visualization tools .
Ability to work with Agile/Scrum teams and familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Preferred Qualifications:
MBA from a renowned institute ( IIM/ISB/SPJain/NMIMS) and/or Engineering from a premier institute ( IIT/NIT/BITS) with an Analytics background.
Product Management experience
Preferred experience in broadband infrastructure, fibre networks, or telecom operations.
Knowledge of GIS mapping, network planning, or IoT applications in broadband utilities.
Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance related to broadband services.
