Position Title : Business Analyst
Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct detailed analysis of airline message feeds (PNR, TKT, INV, SKD, etc.) to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Troubleshoot issues related to data feeds and work closely with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Project Management, Implementation, Migration, and Development).
• Gather business requirements from Product Owners, Product Managers, customers, and account managers, and assess the scope of work.
• Document product specifications, data models, functional and non-functional requirements, and API specifications using UML diagrams.
• Independently explore the system, uncover unknown facts, and document them for future reference.
• Perform project management roles for specific product functionality, coordinating efforts across technical teams.
• Lead root cause analysis for functional issues and provide insights to Engineering and Business teams.
• Mentor other Business Analysts in the team, sharing functional knowledge of processes and end-user products.
• Ensure alignment with secure development life cycle and application architecture principles.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, flexibility, and a sense of ownership towards team objectives.
• Stay curious and continuously learn about the airline industry to drive innovation.

Requirements :

• 7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting data feeds and delivering product specifications, data modeling, functional/non-functional requirements, and API specifications.
• Knowledge of application architecture principles and secure development life cycle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer focus and flexibility.
• Strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and passion for excellence.

Good to Have :

• Experience in the airline domain.
• Knowledge of EDIFACT and Protobuf formats.
• Experience working in a SAFe model.
• Basic knowledge of API, XML, and JSON formats.
