EMEA Recruitment is excited to partner exclusively with a multinational industry-leading services business as they search for a Business Controller to join their team in The Hague.
As Business Controller, you will report into the Head of Finance NL and be responsible for monitoring the financial performance of the local operations.
This is a great opportunity for an independent and commercially minded candidate who will be a true business partner to the operational teams.
Please note: This role will require travel to local sites each week on a rotation.
Responsibilities of the Business Controller include:
- Monitor and analyze site performance, profitability, and KPIs to support operational decision-making
- Prepare monthly reports, budgets, and forecasts, and contribute to financial closings
- Ensure accurate reporting and data integration using tools like Tagetik and BI dashboards
- Support financial aspects of integrating newly acquired entities
- Drive process improvements and harmonize financial practices across sites
- Act as a key finance partner to site managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Experienced required:
- Master’s degree level qualification or equivalent in controlling
- 3-6 years’ international experience in controlling or financial analysis with a commercial focus
- Excellent understanding of accounting processes, as well as proven expertise in financial analysis and modeling
- Advanced Excel skills, ERP knowledge, and hands-on BI experience
- Fluent in Dutch and English (both are an essential requirement)
