Business Development Manager EMEAR - (F/M)

As the Business Development Manager, you are responsible for managing the overall inbound business development and outbound prospecting pipeline strategy by leading 30 Business Development Representatives. You will collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership to devise tactics to increase demand generation and set KPIs. This strategic role involves making key decisions regarding our inbound and outbound prospecting pipelines.

The Business Development Manager will contribute to the pipeline and revenue of the Europe GEO Group by managing multiple teams, including inbound and outbound business development representatives. These teams engage with prospects and customers to generate high-quality leads from targeted initiatives, inbound contacts, or restricted account lists through cold and warm calling activities.

Role Description & Responsibilities

  • Lead the Business Development team in the Barcelona HUB, supporting lead management and opportunity pipeline creation for all customer engagement models.
  • Drive performance across the BDRs, ensuring success metrics are met and the team develops a robust lead management system.
  • Ensure the delivery of qualified lead and opportunity pipeline targets and SLAs for the four European GEOs: EWEST, ENORTH, ECAL, and EMED.
  • Maintain the team's success in meeting the Acceptance % rate and operating within the lead routing process and TAT as per the Corporate OLA Procedures.
  • Strengthen GEO interlock by collaborating with Geo GMLs, GEO Business Planners, and other leaders to ensure outbound campaigns are delivered according to governance and SLA standards.
  • Continuously improve BDR performance metrics, identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Address performance gaps proactively to ensure targets are met.
  • Collaborate with the Global BDH Learning team and BDR Director to develop training materials for onboarding and ongoing development.
  • Encourage use of My Journey for learning and career development, fostering a culture of continuous growth.
  • Ensure the team utilizes HubSpot reporting effectively, providing necessary training.

Qualifications

  • Degree/Master's Degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Inside Sales, Telemarketing, or Business Development within a Software Solutions environment.
  • Experience in building and tracking KPIs, achieving quotas, and leading high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in sales prospecting strategies, including cold and warm calling.
  • Knowledge of HubSpot.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and reporting skills.
