Business Development Manager – New Services


Reports To: COO

Location: Milan Hybrid (Via Vittorio Locchi 3, Milano)

Employment Type: Full-Time


About the Role

On behalf of our client, RE/MAX Italy, we are recruiting a Business Development Manager to lead the launch and growth of a new business line focused on ancillary services. This is a unique opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset to build something new within one of the world’s most recognised real estate brands.


You’ll take ownership of a new division from strategy to execution, with strong support from the leadership team, but the freedom to drive and shape its success.


Key Responsibilities


Strategy & Vision

  • Build a full business plan for the new services division (market research, strategic positioning, financial forecasts).
  • Define vision, KPIs, and milestones for scalable success.
  • Identify service ideas that support the real estate agent and client journey.


Business Development & Partnerships

  • Research customer needs and competitor offerings to shape the service portfolio.
  • Initiate and manage partnerships (particularly with tech providers).
  • Negotiate deals and drive early commercial traction.


Operations & Launch

  • Establish workflows, tools, and internal processes for the new division.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in collaboration with RE/MAX Italy’s legal team.
  • Launch and refine operational models for speed, efficiency, and scale.


Marketing & Branding

  • Work closely with marketing to create the division’s identity, messaging, and campaigns.
  • Support agent engagement and customer adoption through well-positioned communication.


Performance & Reporting

  • Manage budgets, track financial results, and report to the COO.
  • Adjust strategy as needed to meet targets and seize new opportunities.


Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or similar.
  • Experience launching business units or startup-like projects.
  • Confident in sales, negotiation, and external stakeholder management.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Skilled in planning, execution, and driving initiatives independently.
